Free drinks, prizes and more at the grand opening of Sheetz on Diley Road

Altoona, PA – On Wednesday, May 15, Sheetz will officially open its new store at 8265 Diley Road, Canal Winchester.

The grand opening festivities begin outside the store at 9 a.m. and several prizes will be awarded, including a grand prize of free Sheetz for a year. The store’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Opening to the public at 8 a.m., this new location will also welcome customers by offering free self-serve coffee and soft drinks throughout its grand opening day.

In honor of this grand opening, Sheetz will donate $2,500 to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, Ohio’s largest food bank, which provides more than 170,000 meals every day to hungry people in central and eastern Ohio. Customers attending the grand opening are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to the nonprofit. Those who donate will receive a Sheetz brand thermal bag, limit one per customer, while supplies last from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

A second donation of $2,500 will also be presented to the Special Olympics of Ohio. Sheetz has been a proud supporter of the Special Olympics for more than 30 years and also provides support to the organization through product donations and event volunteers.
