Princess Cruises unveils historic cruise tour of America, exploring America’s roots

In anticipation of America’s 250th anniversary, Princess Cruises is offering a unique 14-night cruise tour of Historic America. This experience includes a seven-day land tour of key historical sites, followed by a seven-day cruise between Canada and New England aboard the Enchanted Princess, sailing round-trip from New York City.

Highlights of the land tour

Guests on the Historic America cruise tour will explore key locations including Washington DC, Philadelphia, Williamsburg and more. The tour includes overnight stays in Washington DC, Williamsburg, Staunton, Gettysburg and Philadelphia. Travelers visit Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Mount Vernon, George Washington’s estate, and Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s estate, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Booking and departure dates

The Historic America cruise tour is now available for booking with 10 departure dates in 2025, including August 16, 23 and 30; September 6, 13, 20, 27; and October 4, 11 and 18. Rates start at $4,529 per person.
