No. 7 Seed Softball will host the 2024 NCAA Columbia Regional

COLUMBIA, Monday – The No. 7 seed University of Missouri softball team (43-15) will host the 2024 NCAA Columbia Regional at Mizzou Softball May 17-19.

After making a run for the championship game of the 2024 SEC Tournament, the Tigers were awarded the No. 7 overall national seed.

Washington, Indiana and Omaha join the Tigers in the Columbia regional field.

Mizzou opens play on Friday, May 17 at Mizzou Softball Stadium against Omaha after Indiana and Washington face off.

Missouri will take on Omaha, CT on ESPN+ at 4:30 PM, while the Indiana vs. Washington game will take place at 2:00 PM, CT on ESPN+.

Mizzou will host a Regional for the third time in four seasons.

Overall, Missouri will appear in its 17th straight NCAA Tournament this season (27 total regional appearances).

The Tigers will attempt to reach the Women’s College World Series for the seventh time in program history. Mizzou’s last appearance came in 2011, when the Tigers were the ninth overall seed.
